I'm really wanting to build a small greenhouse so I can garden year round(I know that probably sounds silly for mn). I love gardening, and I go crazy in the winter when I can't garden. How would I heat the greenhouse cheaply? It is often below zero.
In my own experience, keeping a greenhouse just frost-free all the winter in regions with regular frosts is not really cheap - keeping it warm enough so you can grow something may become quite expensive. But: A lot depends on insulation and location - a solid double glazed construction facing South should do much better.
