How to find the first unread post in a long thread

Some of our topics have a lot of posts. Obviously you don't want to start from the very beginning every time you read the discussion.

Here's how to find the first unread message:
Look for the little BLUE DOT at the very left side of the discussion list.

It's pretty small, but once you know what to look for, it's easy to find. As you hover over it, it says "Go to first unread message"
 
Bumping this to the top since it's the most confusing thing about the new forum.

To find new posts in a long thread, click on the tiny (sorry it's so small) blue dot at the left side of the thread, right next to the avatar.
 
Another way to get there is via the "alerts" tab on the right side. It will notify you when somebody replies to a thread you've posted in or are subscribed to. When it does, simply click on the thread title, that will take you to the first unread post.
 
Another "where is it" comment. The Active Topics link is still here, it's at the far right side of the second line of menu items at the top of the page. It was the first thing I added to the default forum software, why it's not standard I have no idea...
