My Jewel orchid ( Ludisia discolor) started to open this morning just one bloom stock has started so with one growing fast, you can see the other bud in back on the left

That is so cool Bear!
I knew Jewel Orchids bloomed but they are usually insignificant and grown mainly for the colorful foliage! Yours is a knock out!
 
thanks Ron, I like the colorful foliage but its the flower I want to see bloom, this summer when it goes out side it will give my more blooms, each flower is only 1/2 inch wide and it can have 50+ blooms on one stock
