This is really stupid but I have to ask. Does one lettuce seed equal a head or bunch of lettuce? If so I may have planted wayyy to many. I have the loose leaf and I know that they say it doesn't bunch well.

Anyone with experience growing loose leaf lettuce? Mine is actually salad bowl lettuce.

One seed equals one plant with a spread of around 6 to 12"s!
You will need to thin out the seedlings as they grow!
You can even move them if you have the room, or use them in salads!

Okay thanks Ron. Thank goodness I have alot of fellow gardeners I can give this seedlings too. I didn't think they all would germinate and do so well!
