My green thumb has turned black

Any hope for this peace lilly? What can I do to save it?
 
It's in a sad state!
Peace lilies like tight roots!
You could repot it into a smaller pot.
They also like well draining soil. I'd repot using a soil-less mix designed for housee plants!
 
Thanks, it had some parasites. I treated it and now they are gone. I had really waterlogged it and some of the bulb had decayed. So, not knowing what I'm doing I took it out to repot it and got rid of the decayed parts. I don't know if this helped or not. I'll get a smaller pot. It's from my Pawpaw's funeral. It went down and went down fast.
