I am going to Staten Island to see family and friends. It is not to far about 25 miles but if your timing is off it can take up to 2 hours to get there, as half of all people in NJ go to Staten Island, Brooklyn or Long Island for Thanksgiving and half of the people from those places come here, With only 1 Bridge to get over for southern NJ folks and the highway through Staten Island is only 2 to 3 lanes wide. I was going to leave Wed. afternoon but then decided to leave early Thurs. morning and stay over til Friday.
I hope everyone who is driving has a safe trip, and a very happy Thanksgiving.
