Today in history March 6, 1930 Clarence Birdseye begins to sell packaged food in Springfield, Mass.

I thought that was an interesting history tidbit for today. Frozen foods have come a long way haven't they.

The History Channel has done a show on packaged foods and was very interesting. But they have improved a lot since Clarence first brought out frozen foods.

The little hamlet that I live in is home to Elsie the Cow. The first Borden milk canning factory was born here. We have big Elsie the Cow signs welcoming anyone that comes in on the main drags.
