True Confessions of Gardeners

Ok so most of us who have been gardening a while know there's the "by the book" way and then there's the way it actually goes down in spite of what all the experts say. I though it would be fun to start a thread of "True Confessions of Gardeners" where we can share and let those who are newer know they are not alone in following their human nature rather than expert advice.

So true confession:
This year I ordered a bunch of plants online before I had beds to put them. This is my first year gardening in my new space and February was miserable so I ordered plants.

They have directions on spacing but I usually ignor that because I know mother nature will plant closer next year.

You can always pot them up so you don't need to rush to get your new gardens dug up and ready to plant....works for me on numerous occasions over the years!
