Is there any restrictions on seeds mailed outside of the state they were originally purchased? I would be interested in trading seeds, but I am curious because they always ask me if I'm mailing fruits or vegetables. Is there any type of gardening seeds that is illegal to send in the mail?
I have been mailing seeds to friends for nearly 10 years now and have Never had any problems.
I also order seeds thru the mail from all over the country.
I have seen "plants" that say that they cannot be shipped to CA, and some other states but seeds seem to be different.
