Nice toy Bob!!
Yesterday we hit 62.....today we won't even get up to 32! :( But, at least it's sunny! :)

Sweet toy there ,Bob!
Very cloudy and bit on the cool side this weekend ( upper 30's with low's in the teens ) At least there is no snow currently! ( that is a plus ) Good weekend to stay indoors as Anette has asked me to help her with some boxes she hasn't unpacked since we moved her over a year ago ( boy, how time flies ) No place to go around here currently as many places are closed now so,I guess it's a good time to unpack a few boxes there!;)
Have a Wonderful weekend and keep safe out there, folks!!

Sweet toy there ,Bob!

It's one of the Davis weather stations. I've been looking at them for years, and my old one died a few months ago. I'd already rebuilt it once, the batteries in the wind gauge aren't replaceable in theory. Why they chose to save like a buck on putting in a battery tray I have no clue. Maybe so you had to buy a new one. It died again, and I figured it was time to upgrade.

I got the cheapest Davis model, the all in one, but "cheap" is relative when you're talking that brand. That said, they're build solid, last a long time and can be repaired. So hopefully I'll have it a long time.

BTW, the indoor temps of 78 are misleading. There’s a tiny computer that receives the wireless signal from the weather station and uploads it to the net (weather underground) once every 5 minutes to make pretty little charts and graphs. It sits next to my cable modem and directly behind my TV, so it has heat on both sides.

Going to 60 today and well become almost like Spring outside! ( we are on a lockdown here as well, but... I would rather have that then spread sickness around to someone or catch it from someone as well ) That 60 degrees I talked of, will give way to rain starting overnight all the way into the weekend with highs in the upper 50's and lows in the upper 30's yet. Some prayer is needed as Anette's friend did not make it through this COVID - 19 deal. ( her friend's brother let her know about that a few days ago ) This virus is very odd for sure - ya never know from day to day or minute by minute even how or what will happen ) Have a Wonderful weekend and do your very best to keep safe out there as well, folks -- Anette and I will follow that advice too! ;)😷

Hi Phil. Our lives have changed so much due to this virus, and world has changed forever. This virus hasn't reached its peak yet, so we need to be on guard constantly. I need to make a trips to town at least once a week for groceries, and pick up things at the drug store, and I am always on the alert around other people...we all need to keep our distance to be safe and for their safety. People are finally adjusting to the new reality and hopefully we can slow the infection and death rates by doing our part!
I am so sorry about Anette's friend! Please give her my condolences!
One of my sisters is in quarantine for the next 14 days, she is a nun living in a convent in New Jersey....one of the nuns passed away yesterday from cv-19. My sister and several others where exposed...most of the nuns are in their 80's.....Keep them in your prayers!

We are in spring-like weather....warmish during the days and cool at night...things are starting to sprout out of the ground and the tree buds are swelling...especially the pussy willows!
39 and overcast...light winds out of the north...windchill 34.
48 this afternoon with mostly sunny skies....light winds shift out of the NE.
41 this evening...with light winds....windchill 36.
37 overnight...light winds shift out of the east 10 mph...windchill 30.
39 tomorrow morning with light rain....
