Suggest me that Which wood for garden house doors? Merbau or meranti?
Which is best against the elements? Which would you want for a set of doors in your garden?

Hi Nirra Glad to see you here.
If you could give us some info like what zone you are in or where you live then we could make some informed decisions as to what wood would be the best for the job.
Welcome

Constructive wood protection is the best wood protection (actually this holds true for any building material).

A garden house door which rarely gets wet and can quickly dry off if it happens can practically be made out of any (local) wood and does not really need chemical treatment or paint layers.

I would rather spend the money and effort on a more generous roof + keep the wooden elements away from ground moisture.
