    Great Seed Starting Idea

    I think this is a great idea, I have a few seeds left to plant and would like to try it out. Thanks for sharing.

    Composting

    I have a hard plastic composter - not the tumbling type. I keep it moist and occassionally put dirt into it with earth worms and wigglers - they do an excellent job. I have beautiful earth all the time. Prior to this the soil sat in the composter and slowly broke down over a course of about 3 years.

    How would I progate a Native Turmeric in my zone - will it need green house growing conditions in zone 7? Where would I find seeds or a root please?
