Does anyone know how to get this off? We used some cleaning stuff with water and it just made it worse. Last night I researched it on the web and it said not to use anything liquid on them as it would make it worse and it sure did. Should have checked the net first. It did mention something about a dry cleaning sponge, never have heard of it.
Thanks

If it's on drywall, you could scrape off the mold along with a good layer of paint.
If the drywall is crumbling were the mold is you will need to cut out the damaged drywall and replace it!

It's not mold, it's black soot, you don't really see it, until you wet the walls, some spots you can see it, tried to wipe the walls first but that didn't help, will have to do some more research on it
