I love sweet corn and have always thought I needed lots of room to grow it in backyard garden.
Last year I grew 5 rows 20 feet long. I was careful to space them properly and did all the things I was told. Even though the spring was cool we managed to have a great harvest and we put 53 2cup bags in the freezer.
This year we are only going to plant 3 row as 53 bags of corn was more than my husband and I could eat in a year. But the kids enjoyed the extra bags.
We also gave lots of fresh ears away. Try growing some Sweet corn this year. We like the sugar enhanced Ambrosia variety.
