Skagit Valley Daffodils near Mount Vernon, WA.
Taken last month, while driving to Anacortes for work. They were already asking folks to stay home and reduce travel. However, I work at an essential business and the oil refinery we work with is also an essential business. Safety doesn't take a break, so our inspections continue. On this day, I took what is actually a shorter route, through town, to check out the fields. Normally I take a longer, but faster route. I was guessing it would be my only chance to see the fields this year, and it was. These have no doubt already been harvested, in fact I think crews were gathering that morning.
