The other woodpecker that we have in this area is the northern flicker. Here are a couple of them on the deck, the male and female.

Yes, I take all the pictures. I only post my pictures, saves any problems. Thanks for looking at them.

We have a lot of them around here! Don't tend to see them in January of February!

We have them here also along with the Downy Woodpecker, but I don't think we get the Pileated.
