It really feels cool this morning! Didn't get any thunderstorms yesterday. All we got was a short period of light rain! All the storms were to the north. We were outside of the systems that moved through bringing damaging winds, thunderstorms and possible twisters....
It was hot yesterday with humidiex readings fluctuating from 100 to 104.....it was awful!!!

boy had two nasty days this week with heat index at 102 and 104. last night the cool canadian air came down (thank you Ron) today was gloomy and 65. from one extreme to another. hopefully we will see sunshine tomorrow and its supposed to be 80 with little humidity, but starting sunday the humidity comes back and we shoot up into the 90s again next week. crazy for this time of yr.
Happy Labour day weekend to you as well. great to have three days off from work even tho its part time.

(So glad I don't live at the lake anymore!! They are expecting lakeshore erosion tonight into tomorrow!!)
Total rainfall is expected to be 2 inches, and possibly more!
They cancelled the rain warning. Didn't get the amounts they were calling for...so far...they may reissue the warning this afternoon!

gloomy weekend here and cool temps, about 60 each day. still gloom, cool and no sunshine. looks like gloom and rain for the entire week. esp with florence coming in. fearing for NC and my friend Libby. will keep her in my prayers. looks like a monster. doesnt look like sun until sat and that depends on florence and where she goes. right now they say the NE wont get any rain from her.
