Hope all are safe .

This is so powerful and such a lot of damage can happen.

We are seeing this on the news.

Take care everyone.

it is a mess scot.......no power in most of NYC or NJ.......upstate NY is fine .....we are even seeing some brightness......the sun??????

Lots of power outages in Maine too but I have power. :). Leak in roof. Wet spot on bedroom ceiling.

The worst of the powerful winds is pretty much over for us..... the bands of heavy downpours will continue, but lessening as the day wears on!

We got about 4 1/2 inches of rain, lots of wind, but kept our power. They closed the Volvo plant down at noon on Monday and remained closed for Tuesday, but all in all we made out ok compared to lots of people.

Wonderful news you had power Jade .

But lost of lifes and everything is so sad .

How does anyone get over this .

True Randy!
A life changing event like Sandy will effect everyone forever with a lasting memory of the events and everything and everyone that they lost!
It is not something anyone can get over, moving on will be a slow and painful process.

Everyone shall need a lot of counceling and support.

My heart goes out to all that has been affected.

Its just so so sad
.
