Happy Memorial Day!!
It got up to 83 with a humidex of 93 yesterday afternoon!.....by late afternoon the skies turned dark and the rumbling started as a cold front moved through! Heavy fog rolled in late evening!....looks like it is finally burning off!
66 with hazy sunshine...humidex 68...very light winds out of the SW.
70 this afternoon with mostly sunny skies....humidex 72....light winds shift out of the west.
63 this evening....light winds shift out of the north.
50 overnight..winds shift out of the NE...

Weather today is very nice and sunny ( lower 70's as the high today ) Been very humid the last several days with rain here and there -- so a nice change today!
* think rain is in the forecast starting overnight though ----- but,I will take what we have today in a heartbeat ----- *
Anette is packing a picnic lunch for us today as I suggested her yesterday that we should go for alittle drive and stop at a beach and just enjoy life there walking the beach together ( she liked that idea there well.... )
- with the price of gas going up, we will probably limit those sorta things ( to bad greed is taking over really well on people doing things like that )
Anyways, the farmers around here are finally able to get out and plant there crops ( they are about a month behind cause of all the rain we been dealing with ) < good to see that they are out there now doing there thing >

Weather is pretty much the same here Phil! At least it's warmer than it was! The farmers finally got their crops in on the weekend!

finally a weekend of pretty nice weather, 70 and no rain just sunshine. what a treat I saw some farmers planting their fields on monday. they finally get a chance to do something. but now we are back to the rain and boy was it chilly yesterday tues at 59 with the wind. we luck out yesterday, we were on the cold side of the cold front, (thank you canada) and below that in NYC AND NJ had tornado warnings last night. today feels even colder, the wind is howling and its grey. the street lights are still on. its almost june and still no heat here, this is so odd!

Sorry Woodie, but it is not our fault that it's cooler then normal, and getting way too much rain. If you want to place the blame somewhere then blame all the systems that keep coming up out of the south and southwestern states..and even the midwestern states! Each of these systems pull and drag colder air from the north....and looks like it will continue for a few more weeks before things settle into summer conditions....That means more rain, more cooler temps and more flooding! We blame the warm Gulf of
Mexico and the warmer than usual Pacific Ocean !!

raining here, think we will dry a little today and tomorrow, then rain and thunderstorms for the weekend. what a pain in the a$$ all this rain.
the highs are pretty low for this time of yr too, be barely make 60 and the only time we make 70 is when the humidity is up. heard we have had 37 days of rain this spring, and 18 days of rain in may.

Even though it got up to 66 yesterday we had SW winds coming in off the lake. It may have been 66 but it felt like 50. Rains return this evening, overnight and into tomorrow and Sunday... highs in the low to mid 60's....lows in the mid 50's mid 40's! looks like a cool first week of June with more rain.

Had thunderstorms late afternoon with a good amount of rain....temp was nice for the early afternoon...got up into the low 70's (in town it was even warmer), but once the winds off the SW kicked up we went downwards...then the cold front and storms rolled in.

friday and sat were good, this morning and afternoon sunday were good, but we are back to the rain tonight. good by to may the wettest month I can ever remember, happy june! tomorrow will be a high of 59, wow really for june! then 70s for the rest of the week, looks like summer is off to a slow start this yr.

47 this morning but sunny and not too windy, so a lite shirt and off I go. have an island in front of my townhouse that needs some attention so off to a nursery for some plants for it. perennials I think.

.....I know you get the benefit when cold fronts head your way. For us it means more tornadoes in the southern end of the province and we have been getting a lot, but with (thankfully) little damage done! It is a cool one today, again, with low seasonal temps and winds! At least the air masse it drier and have clear blue skies....45 and might get up to 59! Had to re-light my wall furnace this morning ....43 last night and the apartment temp dropped to 67! This is not June weather...but it is coming.....in the low 70's by Friday!!!

Rain is holding off until later on today....thunderstorms for tomorrow with slowly rising temps! Lake Erie water temp is 56 and rising slowly!

had to put my heat on a little yesterday morning, it was 43 and pretty chilly in the house. the strong breeze outside didnt help either so back to a light jacket. but warmth and sunshine is headed here and maybe about 5 days of sunshine which will be a real treat. hope it stretches out for longer. we really need to dry out. the humidity will boost the heat up over the weekend to 80.
