Got around 3"s, and the temp has been dropping!!
16F .....12F for this afternoon....and 5F this evening!

we got almost 4 inches today, more than we were supposed to get in the so called blizzard of 2015. the winds are starting to howl, and we will see 4 degrees tomorrow morning with 30MPH winds, making it well below zero.
The bottom dropped out and it is -3F....no wind but it sure fells a lot colder!!!
Love going out to look at the stars and the moon when it is this cold....everything is so clear and crisp, and the night sounds travel for miles....
we dont have wind yet, but it was a nice round 4 this morning, and only going up to 20. the colder air is coming during the week, when the winds pick up and we have minus 10 to minus 20. Julie escaped to myrtle beach, so she is in warmer grounds for the next few months. another major storm for sunday night into monday, a very active pattern. hopefully it will get all out of mother natures system, and the end of feb will be warmer. one can only hope!
It's 30 degrees warmer now at 25F then last night's -5F!!!
Snows starting here tomorrow morning....how much snow we get depends on how far north the system drifts!!!

We dropped below freezing last night but it warmed up to 50 degrees this afternoon. The sky was clear too but the rain is supposed to return this evening or tomorrow morning.
Gotta love those Texas Lows!!! They're talking a good foot of snow tomorrow!!! Blowing and drifting snow is expected as easterly winds develop...creating lake effect squalls......should be a fun day....running into Monday!!
At least it's 25 warmer tonight then last night....
it was warmer here then the night before. we are expecting a foot as well, here by tomorrow morning. so another fun travel day. Glad that julie escaped and is almost to her destination of myrtle beach.

Well, we are burried in snow and drifts this morning and it is still snowing and blowing.....everything is pretty much shut down and people are warned to stay home and off the roads!!
More then 12 inches fell and more on the way!
Winds continue out of the NE with a windchill in the -20F range... Temp is hovering around 3F......
Problem will be later on today, and tomorrow, as the winds shift and come in out of the SW.....all the snow that fell will be blowing in off the lake......CRAP!
An Alberta Clipper will arrive here Weds!!!!
Ron, you have to stop sending me snow!! haha it snowed all night and we have 6 inches so far, and its snowing to beat the band. We expect a foot or more. no winds yet, but the frigid air is coming lateron and tomorrow it will be about minus 10 with those winds. yuk! hope the next storm on wed is kinder to us.

well a foot later I think it may have stopped, but now the winds have picked up. its going to be brutal tomorrow morning, minus 10 but with the windchill factor, minus 25.
We had a lot of rain yesterday and I was expecting the same today, but the clouds cleared a bit before lunch and we got some sunshine for the afternoon with temps in the high 50's.
zero this morning, but all is calm outside, and Im seeing some blue skies. no heat in the sun this time of yr, but seeing blue skies and sunshine is a good thing!

Winds out of the SW at 18 mph......flurries to start, then snow tonight....and into tomorrow.....could get 2 to 3 inches with a high of 27.... It'll be the winds off the lake that will be the main problem today, blowing all the snow we got yesterday inland!!
Have to head to town to pick up some meds so it should be a fun trip!!
it was bitter cold outside this morning. My car would hardly heat up. it did get to 25 today. sad when 25 seems good.
just heard on the news tonight that there will be a very active weather pattern well after March. looks like we are in for a fun time.

We had rain last night and into the morning, but it stopped a little before noon. There will be more of the same tomorrow. Our high today was about 52 degrees.
21F with 8 mph winds out of the SW.......been blowing and drifting all day....a lot of the snow that fell on the the lake moved inland and formed some nice looking drifts......kind of complimented the drifts that formed yesterday with the winds out of the NE!!!
The trip to town was fun.....took me a lot longer to get there with all the drifting snow coming in off the farmland, covering sections of the road in exposed areas.......
The Clipper snow should start in another hour or so....should have a total of 4"s once the system moves out late on Weds.....It'll be the winds that will be the main problem....
