Beautiful plants! Congrats on the award.
ladyh', if you'd like some snow I'll send you some. Oops! It's raining a little. It'll have to wait til tomorrow night. Ohio's a Great Laker, too, pretty eeeeerie weather in fact.

I've been on the Historical Society of Gardiner and Shawangunk Garden Tour for 2 years. Each year they choose 10 or so gardens in the area and sell tickets with a map so people drive at their leisure to each home.

Annette what an honor to bestow on all your hard work and efforts. It's definitely okay in my book to brag when you have a yard that looks that great. Mine is always a work in progress.

What a pretty home you have Annette, and nice gardens too.

Thank you all, working on my home and gardens are my therapy after dealing with 15-20 children 11 hours a day 5 days a week for almost 30 years.

OOOH such lovely gardens!
Lady H You bet you can brag! Congratulations on the award. I love your garden it looks a bit like mine.
I live in a senior citizen's mobile home park. A few years ago I suggested to the management that we should have a garden of the month too. He said ‘You’d just win every month.’ I told him no one should win more then once in a year. I tried to get him to reconsider so we could inspire some of our seniors to get out and garden. Besides I do have some competion out there. He still refused. :(

WOW!!! What Beautiful Gardens!

Congrats LH! and I too Love that cigar plant really awesome!!!
Another plant I have to have now lol

All of your gardens are just Beautiful...They should all be awarded!
Anette your house is AWESOME!

No awards here but LOVE seeing all of yours!

Love all the lovely yards. They all look just like what I would like mine to look like NOW. LadyH, you deserve a big award for beautifying your park with that lovely showy yard. There's nothing wrong with your home. I'll betcha lotsa love lives there, just like in mine:eek:)

Sprouting and Annette, both of you also have amazing yards too. Love those historical homes along our route too Annette. Bernie, shame on your management for not encouraging those seniors to beautify their lives with flowers and plants. Might give them great joy in their golden years. And thank you for giving me a lovely vision of flowers. My yard is sooooooo dry, I don't want to torture any plants just yet, and can't keep up with the watering.

Hello lady, congratulations on your Yard of the Month award, looking at your garden,i know you deserve it. and yes you have bragging rights my friend.
